Questions
Aircon Pricing and Payment Questions
Money questions come up on every job, so here they are up front.
How much does air conditioning cost?
Every job is quoted under Fixed Upfront Pricing, so you see the full figure before we start. A small split repair and a full ducted install are different conversations, priced on the day.
Do you offer fixed pricing?
Yes. Fixed Upfront Pricing means the quote is set before any work starts, with no hourly rates and no bill shock, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
Are there discounts available?
New customers get $50 off first service, and pensioners receive a 10% pensioner discount. Larger jobs can be spread with interest-free Humm finance, which we set out in the quote.
Questions
Availability and Emergency Air Conditioning Call-Outs
Breakdowns don't book ahead, and neither do we.
Can you come out the same day?
We work these streets most weeks and treat urgent breakdowns as priority jobs. Ring early and we'll do what we can to have a technician at your door that day.
Do you work after hours?
Yes, we run 24/7 emergency availability. Summer breakdowns don't keep business hours, and neither do we, so a dead system on a Saturday night is still a job we take.
How fast is an emergency response?
Urgent air conditioning issues get a Within-the-Hour Response, where availability allows. We'd rather promise that honestly than leave you watching the clock during a heatwave.
Questions
Licensing and Compliance for Air Conditioning Work
Refrigerant is regulated work, and it should only go to properly credentialed hands.
Are your technicians licensed?
Yes. Refrigerant work sits under ARC Licence L162586, a RAC01 - Full Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Licence, the strongest classification, covering installation, servicing, decommissioning and refrigerant handling.
Is the work insured and guaranteed?
We are fully insured, and every job is done by licensed technicians. Our Lifetime Labour Warranty backs it up: if a fault traces back to workmanship, we return and fix it at no cost.
Questions
Choosing a Cooling or Heating System
The right system depends on the house, and this suburb has three or four very different houses on every street.
Which system suits an older brick home?
Often ducted, if the ceiling cavity takes the runs. Many post-war brick homes here, including the 1947 Housing Trust stock, do, and we map routes through solid walls before quoting.
What works in units and apartments?
A wall-mounted split system usually wins: no ducting needed, one outdoor unit, and quiet enough for the close setbacks this suburb's infill blocks leave you.
Does evaporative cooling work here?
It does, and well. Adelaide's dry summer heat is exactly what evaporative cooling suits, and it runs cheaply with windows open. On the few humid days it loses some punch.
Still Got an Aircon Question?
Ring (08) 8246 6298 any hour, or send it through our contact page. A two-minute phone call usually settles sizing, pricing and timing in one go, and the quote is free of surprises by design.
